Chae Yul <3 <3 <3

Chae Yul from Secret Alliance is definitely one of my favorite fictional characters. [SPOILER] (Just to clarify, he’s a straight guy who dresses as female because of the trauma he caused his childhood girlfriend; it’s not a fetish or a personal choice.) [SPOILER END] (I despise femboys.)

He has gone through so much just to be close to her again. The MC has deep-rooted trauma with men because of Chae Yul, but it’s ironic that her mom started all of this. Now she thinks he attempted murder on her mom (despite the mom being shown as abusive multiple times), labeling him as a "crazy ex-boyfriend." Imagine choosing your actual abuser over a hot yandere boyfriend and then picking some fugly Chad manwhore instead. It’s tragic.

This is a really good story with a compelling plot, and I’m just frustrated that the “antagonist” didn’t get what he wanted. I often wish the antagonist could find happiness too, especially my love, Chae Yul.
